Carr Legal Group is proud to award $6,000 in college scholarships to six exceptional high school seniors from South Carolina. Each recipient was selected for their leadership, community impact, and dedication to making a difference.
As part of this year’s program, each student also recognized a teacher who made a lasting difference in their life — a heartfelt reminder of how powerful encouragement and mentorship can be during the high school years.
We’re honored to support these students as they take the next step in their journey, and we’re deeply grateful to the educators and families who helped guide them along the way. We look forward to continuing this tradition in 2026!
Carr Legal Group 2025 Scholarship Recipients
Kareem Cornelius Simmons Jr. is a graduate of Battery Creek High School. He will be attending Technical College of the Lowcountry and then transferring to University of South Carolina — Aiken.
Ava Rios is a graduate of Bluffton High School. She is currently undecided on where she will be attending school in the fall.
Hannah Dye is a graduate of Hilton Head Island High School. She will be attending Clemson University.
Michaela Avery Torres is a graduate of May River High School. She will be attending the University of South Carolina — Columbia.
Brooke Dalton is a graduate of May River High School. She will be attending Pennsylvania State University.
Jane Rubin Irish is a graduate of Beaufort High School. She will be attending Clemson University.
