PART III: CREATIVE PORTION

To qualify for this scholarship, submit a creative entry addressing one of the topics below. Essays must be 600 – 700 words in length and submitted in one of the following formats: PDF, DOC/DOCX, JPG, or PNG.
  • Safe Driving and Smart Choices: Distracted driving is a major cause of accidents, particularly among teens. Reflect on your high school years and imagine you could go back and give your freshman self advice on staying safe behind the wheel.
    What steps would you take to avoid distractions and make responsible driving choices? How have your experiences in high school prepared you for making smart decisions in the future?
  • Community Service and Local Impact: Community service is a powerful way to create positive change. Share a community service project or volunteer experience that has impacted you personally.
    What did you learn from it, and how did it benefit your school or local community? What ideas do you have for future projects that could make a difference in your area?
